I am happy to report that Carl has finished sorting the photos he took at Malone MX, his overall quality of photo is getting better, yes there are a few that may have made it in to his gallery that might not be perfect but because of the weather and the amount of motos that he missed due to rain I decided to let a few of them pass and make it to the website, but the majority of the photos he took from the Malone MX Round are some his clearest photos and the most detailed ones that he has taken for me here at Racertoy.com. So if you get a chance leave a comment on his Malone MX photo album that I just uploaded. I want you all to know that as photographers we go to the races because we love to go and love to be apart of racing. Carl is a hard working guy and is very excited to be going to the races and take photos. He does this at his expense and so do I. Carl wanted me to let you all know that he was unable to shoot photos in every one of the first motos, with the rain that came in for a few of the motos, Carl was protecting his camera and not shooting photos while it was raining so if you were in one of the first set of motos when it was raining chances are Carl did not get your photo. He apologizes to everyone that he was unable to get a photo of but if his camera is broken he is not out there taking photos so at least he was able to get most of the first motos. Nate Urek with Urek Racing (www.urekracing.com) will be holding a youth motocross school at White Sands Raceway in Ashland, NE on Sunday May 16, 2010. This school is open to 50cc riders of all skill levels as well as 65cc beginner/intermediate riders. From 8 - noon, riders will work on techniques such as:
Body Position
Mastering the Controls
Braking
Cornering
Starts
Jumps
Line Selection
Formal class instruction is from 8 - noon, riders will then be able to participate in the normal practice session held at White Sands Raceway from noon - 5. During this time, Nate will continue to work with riders as needed and be available to answer questions from parents.
Class fee is $100 per rider and includes the $16 open practice fee for the day. Additional riders in the same immediate family are only $75 each.
School size is limited. Contact Nate to reserve a spot for your rider.

Fiddler Creek MX is located 1 mile west of Homer, NE. Homer is 10 miles South of So. Sioux City, NE on Highway 77.
Don't miss Round 2 of the Midwest MX Series going on this weekend at Fiddler Creek MX in Homer, NE. This is also the 2nd race in the 4 race Ponca Qualifier for this region.
With over 260 entries at RD 1 this series is quickly proving to be the place to be for big gate racing and awesome competition!
Fiddler Creek MX runs two tracks on race day. A Mini X track with scaled down obstacles for all 50cc riders and the 65 JR class and the big track for everyone else. Come check it out!
Gate is $5 per person (5 and under free), $30 per class for amateur entries and $35 for money classes.

The Midwest Series is a 4 track series consisting of Fiddler Creek MX, White Sands Raceway, Joe Dirt and Malone MX Park.
This year the AMA Arenacross Series makes a stop at the Mid America Center in Council Bluffs Iowa on March 12th, 13th and 14th 2010 for their Pro Points Series Round. The Arenacross Series made a stop in the midwest about 4 years ago for their amature championship series, but this year is different! This year they have brought the premier racers to the Mid America Center for one of the biggest rounds in the series, this will be an action packed weekend of Arenacross Racing Friday night and Saturday night for a dual round weekend. You will get your chance to see the top Professional Arenacross Racers in the nation compete for the national championship title. The weekend will be featuring some of your favorite riders like Josh Demuth, Former Arenacross Champion Chad Johnson and Current Points leader Tyler Bowers, and current champion Jeff Gibson and many more.
Arenacross Pre-Race Party Thursday March 11th 2010 at Dillon Brothers MotorSports from 5pm to 7:30pm

Storm Lake Honda/American Payment Systems/PinPoint Card rider Ricky Draper finally had some bad luck to deal with this weekend at Tulsa, Oklahoma's BOK Center. After three weeks on the east coast preparing for a run at the West Region Arenacross Lites Championship, Draper turned in a career-best 5th place finish last week in Kansas City. That finish gave him a solid hold on third place in the points standings heading into Tulsa. During heat race action, Ricky battled with Foremost Yamaha's Jim Neese for the 4th and final front row main event starting position. Draper passed Neese cleanly in the whoops, but then gave the position back the next lap with a bobble right before the catapult.
From the back row, Ricky managed a solid 7th place start, then by lap 4 had made his way to 5th and was closing in on 4th place Justin Berry. As he began to possibly sniff his first career podium finish, smoke began to billow from the right side of his motor. The bike finally gave up on lap 12, just 6 laps short of the checkered flag. The post race inspection revealed a clutch issue which we should have resolved prior to the next West round in San Antonio, Texas. Draper lost ground to championship co-leaders Cory Green and A.J. Catanzaro, but still holds on to a solid 5th place position in the standings. Tulsa was a TV round and during taping Ricky did a promo for Speed Channel. Air date for Tulsa is scheduled for 2-27-10 at 4:00 pm Eastern. More TV info is available at www.arenacross.com .Also, the Grand Rapids, Michigan round was aired this past weekend and Ricky was shown and mentioned during the Lites main event by announcers John Dowd and Jason Weigandt.
Just a quick update from the Arenacross series. Storm Lake Honda rider Ricky Draper recently completed the first 3 legs of the tour, traveling from Grand Rapids to Baltimore and most recently, Hampton, Virginia. This week the series lands a little closer to home at Kansas City's Kemper Arena for a one night show. Draper, who has been racing the East Lites rounds as warm ups, will now begin his quest of an Arenacross Lites West Regional Championship. During the first three rounds, Ricky earned enough points for his AMA Pro license and will be competing the Outdoor Nationals after the conclusion of the Arenacross series. Draper has finished a career-high 8th place on two occasions this year. "I've been running a top 5 pace and my qualifying times are right there, but man I've got to get some better starts! That's Arenacross, right? I just about had that holeshot last Saturday...we'll see how KC goes then Tulsa."

First of all, we corrected the AX Series' mistake that Ricky was on a Yamaha. He is most definitely on a HONDA. The new 2010 CRF250R is the best 250 ever in my opinion. To say the field was stacked would be an understatement, and those who made the night show should pat themselves on the back. There were 46 riders I think in the Lites Friday, 50 on Saturday. Ricky was 13th fastest in qualifying on Friday and 8th fastest on Saturday. Kurt McCabe was the fastest each night.
Taylor Futrell got the holeshot Friday, but Kurt got him early and checked out. Ricky went down on the first lap, but recovered for a decent 12th place finish, passing Futrell on the last lap. Just making the main was a success after a string of injuries that have kept Ricky sidelined for so long. Saturday, Kurt got a poor start but soldiered his way to 4th at the end. Ricky again made the main right out of his heat race, but took a spill in the whoops on lap one and never really recovered. I think everyone knows how insane the whoops are on lap one of an Arenacross!! So now Kurt leads the East points and Ricky made a huge leap forward to get his Supercross Lites endorsement. Storm Lake Honda's National Arenacross team recently completed a tour of the southeast in preparation for the season opener in Grand Rapids, Michigan Jan. 8-10.
The travel actually started in Brookings, South Dakota at the Midwest Supercross over Thanksgiving weekend. The team, led by reigning Arenacross Lites Central Champion Kurt McCabe, departed the great white north immediately following the Saturday night races for the greener, warmer pastures of central Florida. McCabe's teammate Ricky Draper made his return to racing in South Dakota after a long lay off due to shoulder surgery and happily joined the trip, along with <MORE>

First of all Happy Halloween to every one and from Racertoy.com to everyone we wish you a safe and fun holiday weekend. On a Side Note, I had a visit from the "Great Pumpkin" and I was hand delivered a custom made Pumpkin with the Racertoy Logo cut into it with a candle lighting it from the inside. So I had to take a quick photo of it and post it on the website. Klever as he is known from time to time, lived up to his nickname once again by carving this pumpkin. Whitesands raceway in Ashland, NE is back!!! Starting August 30th 2009 White Sands Raceway will begin a 3 race fall series. They are back and better than ever, the track has been completly overhauled and it even has a new section located where the mini trach used to be. Anyone who has ever ridden there knows the track has the best dirt in Nebraska for a motocross track, and they have best watering system as well. Get ready for a great racing Series. In Dow City turn South on School Street. Go three blocks and the road turns to gravel. keep going straight for about three miles. Look to your left for a sign that says Corral Raceway. We haven't got a new sign yet. When you see the sign turn left and go through the wooden gates and you are there.
